DWH – Deutsche Wasser Holding GmbH is a group of companies that has been committed to safeguarding drinking water and wastewater infrastructure in Germany for decades. We are grounded, reliable and closely connected to the people and regions we serve. From our headquarter in Arzfeld, in the Eifel region, we connect the expertise of our companies and create a structure that already ensures local presence and short response times across six German federal states.
The companies within the group bring together extensive expertise in plant manufacturing, process technology, component manufacturing, engineering, electrical engineering and the digital control of drinking water and wastewater systems. Together, they look back on hundreds of completed plant projects and a large number of successfully delivered solutions - forming a strong foundation for technologies that are both reliable and future-oriented.

The group includes the Zahnen Technik Group and the ZWT Group, with locations in Arzfeld, Bayreuth, Lutherstadt Eisleben, Jüterbog, Rahden, and Rödermark. Each company contributes its own identity, specialist expertise and strong regional roots. At the same time, all companies benefit from the exchange of knowledge and experience within the group - technically, organisationally, and technologically. This creates reliable partnerships for municipalities, industry, utilities, engineering consultancies and distributors, supported by local contacts and well-coordinated teams.
Another key element of our work is our close cooperation with universities and research institutions. New scientific findings, advanced processes and innovative approaches are directly integrated into the ongoing development of our products. This ensures that our solutions not only meet the latest state of the art, but often go beyond it - setting new standards for the future of water and wastewater technology.
The challenges facing the water sector are growing: modernising existing infrastructure, adapting to climate change, meeting stricter environmental standards and managing increasingly complex technical systems. DWH was founded to address these challenges collectively and through combined expertise. We create reliable structures, drive innovation, strengthen collaboration and focus on sustainable solutions - while operational responsibility intentionally remains with the specialised companies on the ground.
This creates a group that combines the hands-on mentality of medium-sized businesses with the strength of a nationwide network. Anyone looking for an experienced and reliable partner in water and wastewater technology will find the right experts within our subsidiaries - regionally rooted, personally accessible, and backed by the strength of a modern group structure.
